  1. the workers who took care of those residents are true heroes. how i wish my son & my family had people so devoted so he can get the help we need for him to live every day

  2. My husband is considered an "essential worker."nHe works at Menards (which sells masks, and supplies to the Fire Department, EMT's and emergency construction His company, Menards did not provide masks, gloves or details on how to keep safe for WAY too many weeks. He was required to work but NOT provides any way to stay safe for way too long. He is 75 years old and in the high-risk group, his due to his age and me A0 my age, (69) and B) because I have multiple Autoimmune Autoimmune Conditions (a messed up immune system) so I am at high risk as well. My greatest risk was him bringing COVID home to me. .. His choice was to quit work or to work anyway….and we needed the money becasue we spend thousands and thousands of dollars each year in our out-of-pocket medical care needs…so he kept working. .We are middle-class retirees who between us raised and educated four children and were divorced at mid-life.. We can live on our retirement income but cannot provide the extra medical -care we need on this retirement income alone. He works five days per week and brought home $21,000 gross last year and this entire salary went to our medical needs. Oh and yes, Menards gave him a dollar raise for approx 2-2 1/2 months during the pandemic and then took that dollar increase away when the state opened back up.

  3. No lie..I was brought to tears..and now I cannot stop crying. Right now in the midst of this protest where we are so much hatred we know that there are many americans and not Americans that have a warm loving heart and a helping hand we can count on. Thank you Diane and staff for this. I needed to see a softer and better side to what has had me down for these past months.

  4. Why are they crying about a dumb prom dance High School. Many people's have die because of this virus. We need to worry about are fellow neighbors Grandpa Grandma instead of a damn prom get over it life matters not a prom or graduation you people have some nerve hundreds of people have died and you weren't about a prom. I can get a life. Smh

  5. Damn these onions! 😭 lolol … this gives me faith in humanity. The elders deserve our sacrifice and care at this time. I only hope those nursing homes in minority areas are receiving the same level of care. Bc it really breaks my heart to know the vulnerable populations are dying alone. But as the young lady said "The devil works hard, but The Lord works harder!"

  6. I live in the town that sharon brooke is in and our whole county's covid numbers have stayed very low. I'm not really sure why, I see people without masks and no respect for social distancing.

  7. That’s only if people continue to listen to the media’s lying. It’s a damn shame that you can’t believe a damn thing the media says.
