Within 3 km there won't be any population, atleast this what, they say when Airport is being made, its fault of us we people, As There is almost none population Arround New Islamabad Airport which is near my village, but now the Land Mafia has made many Residential areas Arround it, they didn't mind building it 100 meters away.
Its the couruption in PIA, Ministry of Development, and Also in TMA etc.
People are involved down to root level, who allow the other people to Build House in the Area which has been declared NS ( No Structure) Zone.
The New Islamabad International Airport is Far from Population, but if the Government doesn't made strict laws against the business tycoons buying land and adding into new Residential societies, things like that will be near future.
There is so much land to build Houses excluding the 1 km range / 3 km landing zone area, I don't understand the sick mentality of people, buying plots in residential societies ( with none having any NOC) just attached to the airport.
As there is time now to stop this, because, it has just begin, and if government didn't punished the culprits things will be bad for everyone in the near future.
So heartbreaking 😓 Prayers go out to those who perished 🙏 so close to the airport! 😰 how awful!
