New Chevy Pickup WORLD RECORD – 8.07 @ 178MPH

The 99+ Chevy Pickup World Record has been re-set by this BEAST of a pickup. This 427ci 114mm Turbo powered Chevy Pickup owned by Rigo Trevino produces about 1700hp and was SCREAMING down the track at the October Truck Madness put on by http://houstonperformancetrucks.com

Trevino previously had the record in the 8.40’s, but after turning up the power, they put down an 8.14 and a pair of 8.07’s before the end of the day when they pushed a head gasket out.

  1. Flaco already ran in the 7's years ago ago Houston's strip. He was daily driving it to his speed shop. The white reg cab he changed the motor setup multiple times, first with nitrous.. at one point he ran 2 ea. 200shot bottles all before he went turbo ran 9's, 8's and then I believe ran a 7.41 something like that. You can find on you tube and gmfullsize.com

  2. my favorite part about this? his truck looks like it could still hook up to a trailer. dont get me wrong anything fast is cool… but door slammers? this guy might be my new hero
