Truth: Dr Faucci told America that masks will help but it's a false sence of security since the eyes are susceptible to Corona virus. Plus gloves would be necessary to keep hands from being contaminated. Video studies showed how the average mask wearer quickly contaminate their mask after putting it on the first time. Due to itches, habitual touching of other objects and then their face and eyes and mask, constantly adjusting the mask for Comfort after contaminating the hands. Medical trained personnel are very careful not to touch their mask at all and if they do they always wash their hands first. They also change their masks regularly. Untrained civilians Wear masks much longer than they should have adjusted them more than they should have contaminated them regularly almost instantaneously after putting them on just because of bad habits and itches. So the mask provides a very false sense of security. Plus masks have to be removed when you're eating. Coronavirus germs do not care if you're eating or not when they enter your body. The food you're eating may have been contaminated. The silverware you're using was handled Andre handled before you used it the plates. Tables and chairs that you're touching I've been touched by many other people therefore are contaminated unless you're wearing gloves and washing your hands every time you touch your chair or the table. So like doctor felji said masks can help. He was also afraid of Americas reputation of hoarding necessary products because of selfishness and lack of care for anybody else but themselves which is apparent during all emergency situations. There would have been no masks available at all for medical personnel. Another reason for his lack of commitment two masks in the beginning.

Maybe I'm ignorant about this but they say the main purpose of a mask isn't to protect yourself but to protect others. Okay, but if a healthy person doesn't wear one but is considerate enough to cough or sneeze in their elbow, how are they spreading germs? And as far as protecting your face from germs, can't germs travel to your hands or arms as well? I think only sick people or those working in the medical field need to wear one, providing the others sneeze or cough in their elbows. And not only that, it's hard to breathe wearing one.
