i havent been since 08 when qb2 was still around (RIP) so i dont know if they still do the mile run or if it became its own event, i know the "texas mile" has grown exponentially, and became a standalone event, but as for tx2k, i think its developed into a cruise.
it was the premier supra meet, featuring competition rather than a show/cruise. it debuted with a 1/4 mile day and a full mile day, as well as a show/cruise day. eventually us corvette guys got sick of it and started showing up, then it blew up like a ford and now everyone and their mom shows up. i agree it was a supra meet, but the appeal compared to tampa, or san diego was the mile shootout. the "texas mile."
