  1. The movement to end the monopoly on homelessness existed well before this fake pandemic. . In fact this fake pandemic is now being used to send more people into housing debt. . .and therefore homelessness. . .and all because of the greed of the land lord's. . Just another tyrant class

  2. Forbereance is a trap. You'll endup owing all the skipped months due your next pay date after it expires. They will still tank your credit making that forbereance remark which will drop you 40 points at least.

  3. Good luck on that cause any landlords I've encountered would never ever give anyone a break on rent ever for any reason at any time.

  4. C’mon everyone! Let’s get that universal basic income that all the other non constitutional, “amazing countries” that have it. You think it’s “hard” now? You haven’t seen anything yet. God bless all Americans I don’t care what “side” you believe in.

  5. I work at an auto loan company and most of my customers have not even received unemployment and stimulus checks. Most have lost their jobs or had their hours decreased.

  6. responsible people should have a min of 6 months of monthly expenses for an emergency. While this has not always been the case for me I can survive about 3 months without a job. I live below my means and buy things used to save money as possible. Unfortunately, not everyone is like this and do not have money saved up in case of an emergency. When the economy does open we will have a massive crash. People who owe rent will prefer to get evicted rather than pay several thousand in back rent. Americans will not go out to shop and will attempt to work as much overtime as possible in a slow economy. I hate my security job but as an essential worker, every dollar I make is one more someone else does not have. Cancel rent put a freeze on mortgages and tell credit card companies to stop.

  7. the government should let everybody have
    – free rent
    – free electricity
    -free gas heat
    -free water
    -free wifi
    -free groceries
    – free car payments
    -free insurance payments
    – free food
    – free gas

during a stay at home pandemic

but this is the least of my worries

my #1 priority is making soul think more thoughts than he can make me think

    it's all we know….

  8. My parents are working but I think they're getting sick and I'm worried about there health and I feel like if they keep going they may die.. they pay rent to the bank all they said was if they can't pay now next month they'll have to pay twice as much… How is that fair at all. They can pay twice as much. There won't be good for the family. What do I do I'm worried.

  9. Rent waivers should only be considered if someone is unemployed or sick. Lot's of people wanting to strike are still working , PLUS they are getting stimulus checks.
Yet they want to join a rent strike "In solidarity". Bullsh*t. Landlords still have to pay mortgages, insurance, utilities, repairs.
If landlords are now unemployed, they are getting no income to pay for this stuff without rent.
