I had symptoms and got tested. 24 hrs later was told I'm negative. My symptoms persist. Checked into the accuracy of the testing a bit. Some of the tests report up to 15% FALSE NEGATIVE. Don't have a clue if it's the quality of the sample or storage condition or what, but 15% FALSE NEGATIVE is not good at all. Think of it this way, if you test 100 known positive cases 15 of them will get negative. That's too high of a percentage and would probably never be approved by FDA under normal circumstances. I don't know which specific test they ran on me, but the sample was a nose swab.

It's a virus. In the whole history of humanity and medical practice, nobody has come up with an effective way to fight a virus. It just has to run its course. I don't expect an effective treatment, let alone cure, to quickly be developed just because we need it so badly. I don't know if they'll be able to come up with a vaccine, but I kinda doubt it.
