Trump's comment was only stupid because people don't understand sarcasm. He may be an insensitive jerk when it comes to not apologizing to the Central Park 5 kids and wanting them executed, but apart from that, he has a really good sense of humour. Jonathan Karl of ABC should have ask President Trump to clarify if he meant injection with sort of speed that revived victims of life threatening drug overdose or food allergies! Karl was reporter who jumped to a negative and false conclusion that President Trump suggests injection of disinfectant during the press briefing the day before! These disinfectant rapidly kill viruses on surfaces so there is something speeding up the normal rate virus dies on surfaces. I remember there was discussion weeks ago about how long in hours and days viruses live on surfaces if no action such as sunlight or disinfectant. Obviously the biased press also does not feel obligated to report differences between questions and suggestions is glaring flaw and one of the major ethics problem with today’s reporting of news. It is easy to understand when the conversation was about speed of killing the virus that President’s primary concern was speed in saving human life. Sort of way a drug overdose victim or peanut allergy victim can be immediately saved from death so rapidly by a simple injection! Our bodies can obviously kill the virus or everyone would be dying! It seems that speeding up the body’s method of attacking the virus at rapid pace is what most people want unless you are biased against the President. So biased you refuse to try and have a meaningful conversation about researching a cure for diseases such as this which pop up so rapidly that many die before vaccines can develop immunity.

In Trump's "sarcastic" defense speech he also said that the disinfectant (for hard non porous surfaces) can be used and would be effective against the virus on the skin of human hands. Again, he is endangering the health and safety of people…since hard surface disinfectants are not recommended to come in direct contact with the skin because many will damage skin tissue, some have higher corrosive ph levels., and can be toxic. Most hard surface disinfectant products recommend the use of safety gloves when applying the product.
