Everyone mentioning tx2k needs to realize something. It's a roll racers paradise. The lambos and supras and vettes would not do well in a race against guys I'm this video and vise versa I don't expect somebody like boostedgt to come out and own underground racing from a 60mph roll. It's 2 different kinda of racing guys. If you want fun dig action kots and cash days with Houston, dfw and okc cars are where you will get the best. If you want highway action tx2k does it best.

Take it to the track and then compare times. if you have to trailer your expensive car to a street race you my as well just pay the $20 and take it to a local track and put down your best time! completely irresponsible and dangerous to race on the streets.

Because at the strip street cars with 1000+ HP and inadequate safety equipment can't race without tech kicking them out. The whole point is seeing who is the fastest on the street. Are you thinking before you respond or just typing? Your point is valid about the track being faster but you are missing the entire point of THIS and events like it. Going by your logic we should get a group of rally cars together and drag race them. Use the car for a purpose it wasn't built for.
And another thing. If this is a TX2k13 event with cars from all over the nation why are drivers from only Texas and Oklahoma only there. Go ahead I'll wait. I'm sure you have some excuse right? Obviously you have no idea what TX2K is. For one week people from all over the US drive to Houston TX to drag race, dyno tune, and street race to prove they have one of the fastest cars in not only their state but the nation. You'd have to go though to truly understand how much these guys care about making a name not only for themselves but for the shops that did the work and for their platform. It's not about "calling people out" it is about seeing who walks the walk and who runs their mouth.
Where is the LAW ??? What gives??? I have been street racing for 35 years and I have rarely seen "ROUNDS" in the same spot. Paying off the police??? "PRIVATE ROAD" is a weak argument at best? Something about a procession of racecars riding around town in the small hours usually tips off someone…let alone the idiot ricer squealing tires at the wrong time. SO WHAT GIVES ?!?!
