This election, a majority of the bills up for vote are HUGE tax increases, especially Tri-met wanting to spend 7 BILLION more on significantly increasing light-rail. Which by the way, drastically increases more public employees getting retirement benefits that haven't existed in the private sector in over 20 years!

   Those are major tax increases in the coming years for those who live here. Take on top of that, 6 months after the fact (now October 17th) the Oregon economy is still mostly shut and many of the jobs lost will NOT be coming back.

   Who will be left to pay for these taxes? Homeless people who are getting food stamps, medicaid and will be able to take hard drugs on the street such as cocaine and heroin because of Ballot measure 110, which will surely pass.

   The economic future of Oregon will be bleak at best. That is what liberalism does. Sucks the life out of everything and everyone.

42. Everyone, please be careful! It seems like the numbers are low in Oregon, but that is because they REFUSE testing unless your fever is 104… period. My coworker, his wife, and his son (in his 20's) all had the symptoms but fevers were around 103.4. It wasn't until his wife literally couldn't breath that she was allowed see a doctor. She was put on a breathing machine and after 17 days they are all on the mend. They still didn't test any of them.

48. I've heard some negative about this governor and her late response to devastating forest fires. What's annoying now is she's not allowing spay neuter surgeries even though they could be safely performed. We're going to have an explosion of homeless animals this year.
