  1. do you know what more often than not means? it means over 50% of the time… so you're saying out of all rotaries ever made over half of them are in the 1000hp club? i would say 1% of them are, and half of them are in pieces by now

  2. all cost more. You can drop an lsx motor in there and not have to touch it (no upgrading turbos, manifolds, etc) and those swaps won't touch it. 320whp out of the box. add minor bolt ons and a cam (cheaper than putting a big turbo on those motors, which you would need to do) and its a monster. Those other motors are good too, but just require a bit more work.

  3. easier to make power. Power band is way better. more torque. an lsx rx7 will always beat a rotary powered one if they are the same power levels. It also cost less in the long run, and you dont have to worry about losing apex seals. lol

  4. All the battle over Import vs domestic when the sad thing is that RX7 probably has more "Made in America" parts than any GM product on the street in the last 15 years. And that LSX that cant be beat, was developed in Europe. Just a thought. lol

  5. The problem with that is most cars like this Rx7 is that they are geared for the 1/4 mile so they cross the line in their final gear. So it would be out of rpms and gears before the 1 mile mark.
