  3. My buddies mom had one back in the day it was a manual, he would steal it when she was not home and joy ride it, he told me it was supercharged but it was just a power steering whine 🤣

  4. People love to talk shit on Cavalier's including myself. But years ago I had one with a 3800 SC from a Bonneville SSEI we swapped in and before we even modded it I ran 12.94 @112 mph. It was a junkyard special from my uncles yard. But the Cav was too clean to scrap and when done it hurt a LOT of feelings. We did a pulley for more boost, ZZP headers, tune and some other bolt on's like intake spacers and injectors etc. We spent just under a grand on parts and while it doesn't sound like much it did 334 whp on pump and 349 with meth and ran a best of 11.27 @ 124 mph before we sold it. The kid we sold it to put nitrous on it and got into the 10's before the trans let go and in the early 2k's that was moving. But they are light cars so it doesn't take much to wake them up.

It would have been a better sleeper if you did a Rear Wheel drive and a V8 conversion like the 10bolt 8.2 or 8.5 GM rear end with 3.70 Gears and carburetor on a small block or big block V8 or LS V8 engine swap with 5 or 6 speed manual or turbo 350 or 400 automatic transmission for the cavalier or sunbird

  8. I love my 2003 Caviler to death. such a fun car!! I have the 2.2L 4 banger only thing ive done so far is put a cold air intake and a 3in exhaust on it my HP is about 160-165 havent tested it though. still for mostly stock its so much fun for a fwd 5 speed manual <3 i top out at about 117mph but love how it shifts <3 <3 <3 sadly my engine died on me with 199k miles on it :'(

  12. I love how I just watched the owner of the cavalier run in the track in the video before this, but his face is blurred out in this video haha. But with that said I LOVE this build man! I always loved the Berretas I think they were Z24 or something along those lines and they were quick! The probe gt, Celtics gts. Loved all those cars from my childhood. Cool to see such a common daily built to tear apart other beast cars

  19. that kid a couple posts down the list that says he has a Honda that can smoke a Cavalier stock is probably got a fuck ton of money in it or he's a lier cuz my Cavalier stock will smoke the fuck out of a Honda that is stock and seeing how the Cavalier was never meant to be a performance car unlike Honda makes kids think that the lawn mowers they drive or fast if the Cavalier couldn't do it my IROC you sure as hell can which was meant to race and go fast so how about we put things in the same category before we talk shit oh and yeah you probably got all the seats seat belts and everything out of the Honda too so it weighs like nothing how about we do that to a Cavalier and see the gains we get compared to the little gain you got doing it

  22. Sucks that cavaliers has a speed limiter even if you beat them.They will pass you on the highway and think they won.GM should have made them go 140.

  26. Made a comment here 2 years ago. I now have 2.8 s10… I been looking at doing a 3.4 hybrid build along with a custom mounts for a m92 or m62 supercharger , instead of a v8 swap. I would be using a block from a 3.4 camaro and the top end from a 3400 or 3500 fwd engine and yes they do interchange since its part of the 60 engine. Mainly tuning would be my concern , anyone have this guy email or how I can get in contact with him ? Thanks in advance!
    And yes I have already been on the forums but I would like more info

  31. some of these set-ups are awesome , talented builders who put a lot of time n $ in but I'm sorry all the claims of 1000hp to the rubber come on . the #'s are so over the top . when they claim 700 hp it's more 450/500 . not a car guy I go fast on 2 wheels and it's the same b.s "everyone's sprayed gixer's making 300hp lol" . most of those dudes will never know what a tuned in 1000hp to the wheel will ever feel like . still fun and those are fast ass rides .

  40. Everyone's hating because it says cavvy.. Little do they know it's a Z24. They competed with things such as the AWD Eclipses, Probe GT's, etc. It's an awesome east coast car. FWD, Loads of torque and acceleration, and awesome handling. I mean, if it were an '02 plain ole cavvy I'd get it. But this is a J body ffs they were meant to be badass
