  1. "Black or latino…to say that these are a history of people who made a series of bad choices and that is why they're sick leaves out a whole other side of the story"

I could be wrong but I don't think anyone has ever said that? Like where are you even hearing these things, Dr. Bassett?

  2. Well im sorry but i live in baltimore and the reason its spreading is because they wont stay in the fucking house. Covid 19 has no vaccine so the disparity of the medical system which we've never heard about before doesn't matter. Most of the people dieing are all already in hospitals so how does that disparity exist. I go out from time to time for groceries and black kids are everywhere like this isnt a pandemic. Cant stand that you cant critique something another race is doing because thats considered racist. Nah they've issued hundrends of tickets to black teens and they tell the cops "give me the ticket because im not staying in the house anymore"

  3. My GOD fake news do not stop this virus kill anyone black brown white don’t matter what color you are. Stop this game. Now the f…. virus is racist only kill black and brown people. Wow now I confused 🤷🏽‍♂️. Racism virus. 😟

  4. I don’t wanna downplay black people’s struggles… but Baltimore, although diverse, seems to have a high concentration of black ppl even compared to other major cities. The few white ppl who live in the hood are farther separated from each other than black ppl are so it also makes sense for the per capita rate to be higher. I wanna see how their statistics compare to black people in Montgomery/PG county and even Frederick at least before I even start to build assumptions.

  5. I hate to say it, but the parks and sidewalks in Baltimore look like a parade is going on. So many people running around, not a care in the world, treating today like it was a vacation. No masks, no gloves, no social distancing. Druid park looked like a massive birthday party, eastern ave looked like a ticker-tape parade for the orioles winning the world series, inner harbor looked like summer vacationers came early, fells point was so crowded that there was no street parking available. Way to go Baltimore, looks like the next epicenter thatll have Hogan begging for ventilators like the other idiot governors.

  6. So are you saying that the virus is racist now?. Wow, stop with this BS already. If black folks think that they're not getting same care as white people do then open your own black run hospitals instead of blaming white people. The biggest reason black folks are getting the virus more then whites is because they're not taking it seriously enough. Two days ago I drove through a black neighborhood here in Chicago and there was 10 to 20 people just hanging out on street corners or in front of their houses and neighborhood stores, some were smoking blunts and passing it to each other, they're not taking social distancing seriously. Just drive through a black neighborhood in any bigger American city and you will see what I mean. If there is 20 people hanging out together all it takes for one of them to have covid-19 and they will all get infected especially by passing a blunt around. Then their carelessness gets blamed on white people, I am so sick of this already and I am not even white I am Japanese-American. I am just so sick and tired hearing about how black people are always the victims and it's never their fault, these are grown adults stop treating them like poor defenseless children let them take responsibility for their own actions instead of saying white people never do enough for these poor defenseless children. Just stop already.

  7. Most ethnic minorities work in patient care period. Caregivers are not given masks protection period I work in group home and guess what I was given 1 mask good thing I planned ahead but when my masks gone I will be home. You rarely if ever see anglos taking care of their relatives it just will not happen so it's not a race thing it's a human decency thing

  8. Lmao, fewer than 1 in 5. That's approximately 20% of a race that makes up 16% of the US population. Only about 30% of white people can, and almost 40% of Asians.

  9. Media: "Old people are a vulnerable population due to age and pre-existing health issues"
    Viewers: "Awww poor old people."
Media: "Black people are a vulnerable population due to the kind of work they do (which puts them at a greater risk of coming into contact with an infected person)"
    Viewers "Racist media"

Bunch of hypocrites. Why isn't the media also ageist?

  10. It wasn't too long ago where people were saying melanin traces weren't affected. When inheard this rumor I was worried, people of color have it the worst when it comes to health care or any response to a disaster from the government. Viruses dont care what race you are, only the government does.

  11. The Democrat-Media-Complex is never more than a few sentences away from playing the Race Card in ANY situation. The Media knows that the Race Card is all their Puppet Masters in the Democrat Party have left.

  12. I absolutely love the people are becoming aware of media agenda and political tie to wealthy capitalists. If you liked this video you are part of the problem. Stats are flawed by nature.

  13. To watch this nonsense on national news kind of explains why the world sees this country as mostly ignorant. How about you just concentrate on informing people about the updates on which procedures to follow instead of making it a skin color theme and adding more decay to our already transgressed culture. There are poor people in low income neighborhoods in every country regardless of their race. Most countries in Asia have cities with neighborhoods where crime and poverty prevail and none of their residents are black nor latino(which isn't even a color/race). London, Marseille, Amsterdam, Moscow, etc. have places where drugs run high, people with fewer teeth kill each other and robberies occur on a daily basis and these neighborhoods are home to predominantly white people. This is the only country where the media keeps insinuating that it's a racial inherited thing and not a matter of human behavior on specific social circumstances and conditions. Nonetheless it's comforting to see so many comments from individuals using their minds and not following these false ridiculous group ideologies that keep weak minds trapped in unfounded discrimination and anger.

  14. Hey, genuises! Maybe Detroit blacks are impacted because it is a dense urban collection of BLACKS! Hispanics are also impacted because they work in meat packing and hotel housekeeping and other jobs where they cannot keep SOCIAL DISTANCE!! Think before you spew invective. Otherwise, you will soon conclude that COVID hits blacks because it is a white mans plot to keep people of color DOWN!! Morons.

  15. This is the most idiotic “report” on this virus I have heard so far.
It started in China, killing them, then swept through Italy, killing them, then N.Y. city, killing them….all very different “races”…
Yet it was not a “racial issue” until it hit Baltimore? 🤦🏻‍♀️
