    why is it that so many people dont have an emergency fund or 3-6 months of food at home?
    canned food lasts for years. its not that hard to stock up and rotate the old food out by eating it. if there is a silver lining to this, i hope people become more self reliant, and they realize that they need a 3-6 month cost of living emergency fund, and 3-6 months of food.
    why have we forgotten these basic human survival lessons? did you guys not learn about the great depression? my grandparents lived through it, and because of it they taught me to be as self sufficient as possible and to prepare for hard times.
