11. Maaan, let me tell you something about going to prison. The next time you're thinking of breaking the law —don't —it. It's a waste of time. They would spend HOURS turning your house upside downs. They would put in the car and probably drive for hours. they put in a cold ass holding cell. You wait till you see somebody, you're go through a lot of process. then they put you WHAT we called a pod. Then you have to wait — probably YEARS for you either fight your case/ and or start packing you to go to (and it's a long bus ride) the real prison. And you're stuck in there depending on your case. I was locked up for 5 years, and i was still 26 for trying to rob a gas station. Now am out everyone i knew either had moved on, or got old, or dead. I wasted my whole youth in there. Be smart people. I met people in there who were locked up when they were teenager, and they're old now and about to see the world for the first time…and you'll be lucky if you make in there and out here.

14. My husband was in jail one time for not paying tickets for driving without insurance. Yeah that's Texas for you . He said someone in the next intake cell getting gang raped by many men in there .Even when the guards showed up they laughed. Then they said he shouldn't of broken the law to the man that was gang raped .

15. I did short time in Juvie back in the 1980’s. Same thing would go down. A little bit of a twist, though: the staff would hang back, and as soon as it looked like one kid was winning, then they’d jump in and break it up. I heard rumors of, but never actually saw, staff making bets on some of these fights. It was a messed up time for being a juvenile offender being locked up.

23. Guards will not only let the shit go down, but they'll also instigate the shit to make it go down. Some of them use it as a sick form of entertainment. Then they'll laugh as the people involved get charged and end up serving more time as a result of the shit they instigated.
