  3. Should the state have the power to shut down media outlets that spread misinformation and endanger lives? If not, then for the same reason government cannot shut down churches. The 1st Amendment, which affirms religious freedom & press freedom, places strict limits on government

    curtail OUR liberties but never raises the question of whether he should curtail THEIRS. If religious freedom can be curbed to fight #Coronavirus, couldn’t the same rationale be invoked to justify curbing freedom of the press?

Constant surveillance, monitoring of health statistics, enable him, to make meaningful decisions. His explanation, clarification of the process, remain comforting. His leadership, addressing this crisis, ought to be emulated. He is in control. FINDINGS, REVEAL HIS ON HANDS, AND ON FOOT MANGEMENT, originally refered to, as "management by walking rounds", ought to be commended. He is there on site. God bless his heart! Guaranteed he deserves the "Humanitarian Leadership Award" 2020.

  9. I had a 103.2 fever in Saratoga Springs, NY on March 17th. I could NOT get tested for COVID19. I am STILL sick. I am positive I have it. I am 34 years old and COULD NOT GET TESTED AFTER 4 DAYS ON THE PHONE!! I went to the hospital AND STILL COULD NOT GET A TEST DUE TO SHORTAGES. We need a President that enforces the Defense Production Act, and MAKES SURE STATES ARE NOT BIDDING AGAINST ONE ANOTHER ON PRODUCTS. CAPITALISM IS NOT NEEDED RIGHT NOW. FIX PRICES NOW! NEW YORK IS A WARZONE… I AM HERE TO TELL YOU!

Gate's and Bazos, and all the rest of those billionaire's would be on TV bragging about how much money they have donated to saving, We the people. Where's Bloomberg and all his billions, in his bunker, wiping his butt with all of the hundred dollar bills he's making right now, probably in the black market of medical supplies. Like half of our government is, that's the only reason that I can see for not having a nationalized system to distribute supplies. What is up with (can't tell people not to work)Florida Governor. NO, keep them working and spreading the virus, just as fast as possible, because there are way too many older people in Florida.   43. I’m a Health Economist. I was all for lockdown but then I did the numbers and changed my mind. Health economists are going to calculate the cost per Covid life saved and it will reveal to have been the most expensive and comparatively wasteful effort. If you put 3 trillion into fighting obesity or road accidents or addictions, or the three of them together, you would save way more lives. People should keep working using great caution, wearing masks and avoiding close contact. Every life is important, so why not save the obesity or addiction cases at a much lower cost.

We're thankful for the stimulus bill, but…whatever happens now, it's going to hit average Americans hard, a reality exacerbated by delayed action from Trump weeks ago, as he busied himself calling everything a hoax (as usual), and misinforming the public, while refusing to hand the PR over to doctors and scientists. Scientists still haven’t found a vaccine for the virus, and even if they do it’s going to take time to avert the pandemic while, meantime, the recession and unemployment accelerate. All this, btw, on the heels of intensifying climate change. The only group that’s going to genuinely benefit from the stimulus package at this point is rich corporate CEOs. For the rest of us, it’s going to vary. We’re thankful for what’s coming, but if it neglects healthcare coverage for EVERYONE in the country, an awful lot of people are in trouble. Keep in mind, Trump wants to get people back in the workplaces before the virus threat dissipates. The corporations may pull thru like they did in 2008, but if people die there won’t be an economic recovery to speak of. Just more rich people getting richer. And, of course, never mind the poor.
