  1. Mannnnnn I'm so new to sobriety…still a work in progress…covid19 didn't make it easier. I'm addicted to weed and nicotine. I also loved to down a entire 6 pack every day. I've experimented with coke and spice. I quit drinking. But I'm still struggling with my other vices. Idk why I'm trying to quit everything at once.

  2. GREAT FOR YOU GUYS!!!

Our AA meetings happen infrequently with a bunch of ppl in a confined space or not at all!!

I feel ABANDONED by everyone in AA.. it's like the ppl just threw in the towel & walked away.

Leaving Everyone in Cleveland, Ohio to FIGURE IT OUT BY OURSELVES!!

So many many Sponsor's have relapsed, which got their sponsee's to relapse.

Along with the premise of AA is where you help someone get & Stay SOBER. This work then helps the person stay safe & sober too!

  3. The biggest drug in America isn't coke or heroin, it isn't even alcohol nor tobacco. The biggest drugs are high fructose corn syrup and sugar.

  4. Honestly…this may be anecdotal…and I'm clean off opioids now…but when I was an addict I NEVER got a cold or flu or smy sickness besides dopesickness and I used for 2 decades. Only when I was clean did I get sick. I dunno if I never got a cold or flu, but I certainly never felt sick as a drug addict and I have a compromised immune system (no spleen) …this is also true of at least a dozen other addicts I knew. Is this common or are we exceptions?

  5. In 2016 36k people died due to OD. Recovery programs in the US are 'tremendously' useless with the only purpose of stealing money.

  6. This fuckin corana virus has bought me back to Life.
I was addicted to heroin from the last 3+ years, and now in this lockdown period I suffererd from serious withdrawals for 10-12 days , but now after 1 month lockdown i'hve become normal and clean.
Hope this epidemic ends soon in the whole world .
    #Clean and new Life Soon

  7. iam from greece and now with the virus i snort heroin all day the gram cost 10 euros or 20 and the police now dont arest me bevause they scary if iam sick , so i buy 10 grams for 3 days

  8. I just lost a very dear friend who had 4 years of recovery time to an overdose. Please reach out to your loved ones who you know have dealt with the disease of addiction. Whether they are using or even if they have many years of sobriety under their belt, these are trying times and relapse can happen at any time. When one hasn’t used opiates in a long time, their tolerance is low, so they are extremely susceptible to dying from an overdose like my friend.
Bobby, you will surely be missed by all who knew and loved you.❤️

  9. She is so right! I'm close to my 30th birthday and have a 5 year history of a rare heart disease. I became addicted to opioids. Starting with tramadol and codein, followed by dihydrocodein, morphine, hydromorphone, oxymorphone. And – you name it – ultimately needed to high doses of oxycodone, fentanyl-patches and – after refusal of M.D. to provide me with the dose I needed – Heroin. Dyspnea and chest pain during the night time became really bad, resulting in benzo addiction. I was sober for 6 months. My psychiatrist, NA and methadone were a great help. Corona, however, resulted in depression, anxiety, financial dept, and isolation. My addiction is back. I now statistical data for patients like me: Dying from an OD: Most likely cause of my death, followed by 2) suicide and 3) accidents. The heart disease is bad, but rarely fatal. Same for Corona: Dying from the virus? Basically impossible, in particular for an 29 year old.

To all politicians: The discussion is NOT 'Health Care' versus 'Economy'!!! People are dying from Corona. Undoubtedly, people are dying from the lock down and isolation as well. Some of them are addicts like me. Other dying people include 1) business owners, 2) people laking their basic need (many more than the homeless population), 3) health care providers dying from the huge workload, 4) inmates lacking hygiene measures in some jails or prisons in the U.S, 5) patients suffering from organ failure (e.g. kidney failure) and are awating life-saving organs. There are many more examples, but they need a voice.

Corona affects all age groups. Undeniably, people > 60 – 70 years of age are the largest part of the Case Fatality Rate. In Switzerland (well established health care system), 765 people have already dies (population: 8 Mio.). Rate of people dying from or just with Corona: No data. Average age of people dying from and with Corona: 83 year old people. Case Fatality Rate for people between 0 years and 29 years of age: None (on April 6th, 2020). Fortunately, I live in Switzerland. I can't remember, how many times my life was safed by methadone maintenance treatment. I can't remember, how many ODs I survived. But social isolation is one of the hardest hits for people suffering addiction. Good look to everyone!

  10. Go trump!we are so lucky to have a president ,that finally cares, Chinas upset because trump finally puts his foot down, unlike these crooked Democrats, America!we will survive, and hopefully kick China to the curb.its time to be independent

  11. Nows the time to get rid of addictions and learn how to start and run a business. Perfect time to learn the stock market and invest. So many benefits to being locked down.
