But unfortunately the motors had a glass jaw.So many 96 to 98 cobras blown motors.But it was the beginning of mod motors and today the mod motors are very strong.My 08 gt500 is easily making 800wheel.It is amazing you can throw over 300hp at the 5.4 and it handles it no problem. Can the 5.4 fail yes all you need is a bad tune and kiss it goodbye but compared to the first mod motors the 5.4 blows the 96 to 98 cobra motors out of the park.
