  1. That's some SERIOUS PUMPING, on that engine. This was in 2008….How fast was the So called "Amazing GTR" back then…or even know(on pump gas)?

  2. it's not. A few years ago people thought it would be impossible to run 6's on DR's and Sal Patel with his V10 Dodge Viper went 6.98 not too long ago. I never thought the first one in the 6's would be a v10 since v8 is the prefered choice most of the time. It just shows how fast things are moving along technology-wise

  3. Hes running 7's in a 1/4 for christ sakes. In my 10 years of drag racing experience ive never seen a car run 7's on pump gas. Its impossible kid!

  4. Does it say how much boost he is running? Either way, it is a massive v10 so its not like it would take that much boost to make insane power.

  5. sluggish on take off from no boost, too much lag at the start, if it pre winded the turbos it would be at least running 7.4s if not faster, and on pump gas 93 octane it would not make the power, having such an amount of power with that shit in it is no good, i think get a pre boost for the turbos and run methanol, take some weight off and your looking at the 6s no worries. obviously running methanol its a colder burning fuel, so it holds more air, the more air, the more power!

  6. @smallblocksupercharg It'd be great though. They could compete for the most excuses why the 600ci big block whipped their turbo 3.0L asses

  7. i have a "mopar action" magazine with an article on this car , its actually quite impressive besides the times it gets on pump gas , the motor hasnt needed any valve or head work whatsoever or any other major things for a year and a half just oil changes and filter replacments. No major maintenance on a car like that is pretty badass.

  8. To be honest this is on 93 RocketBrand Race Fuel Not 93 Pump Gas, also i was there for this event, after losing the event he went back to the pit's put his race gas tune in the car and come back and made this pass, before that it was running low 8's all day. js

  9. So your saying he loses 8mph on the race gas tune lol wow, what a tool,
was you there ?? I was i know what he done, it's no secreat he told every body that was in the pits what he was doing , the car is bad ass but has never seen no 7.20's lol

  10. Wait, was he still running pump gas when he made this pass? I remember the magazine was questioning what gas he was using while doing exhibition runs so i just wanted to know.

  11. actually there are supras pulling 8's on pump gas…look up darins supra, fastest 6 speed supra in the world street driven pump gas…

  12. Your comment was irrelevent. My statement remains a fact even at this point in time. Making power on 93 octane is not in the same world as making similar power on 117+ octane leaded fuel. Auto or manual has nothing to do with running 7s with a vehicle that can pull out of a Mobil, Shell or Hess station.
