  6. Does anyone in the whole world, care about us, ordinary people? Who's idea was it anyway? It would had been much easier, all people on Earth had one or two children. All is happening now is but a crime against humanity. Are studies about coronavirus but an agenda?

  9. As with any crisis that Americans face, we should be using this as an opportunity to show the world who we are and what we're made of. Like the way we came together as a nation after the 9/11 attacks, crisis should be bringing out the best in us. Instead all I hear about on the news is about riots and violent protests and people complaining that being asked to wear a mask when they're out in public is a violation of their rights. We need to stand together as a nation. Sure it sucks that our lives are disrupted but I'd rather be a little inconvenienced than spend weeks in the hospital on a ventilator and possibly dying. Younger people always think, "It can't happen to me". Let me tell you, death isn't picky. I've worked in hospitals and had to comfort the parents of a teenager who died in a car accident, or a mom who's two year old died of cancer. This virus isn't particular either.

  10. The US government are a complete failure. They failed completely to react properly to the virus that they hears about since JANUARY. SOUTH KOREA ON THE OTHER HAND tackled this the second they heard. They were prepared in advance and had testing kits ready for use since January. They DID NOT PANIC BUY. They stayed home and didn't wait till the 11th hour. America is a failed country, useless.

  12. Far away, there is one state in India-Kerala. Here, planning for tackling corona started as soon as the 1st case in Wuhan was reported. Kerala reported the 1st case in the country, who returned from Wuhan. By proper screening, mandatory homequarantine for 28days and contact tracing, we were able to prevent community transmission. Out of 725 cases, 515 have recovered, with only 4 deaths. The chief minister (similar to mayor of the state) had a regular press conference, were he gave updates about covid status of the state. Police enforced a strict lockdown. Majority of the population sticked to the regulations put forth by the govt.

    We didnt know theres more infected people until the symptoms occur and its too late they get along with the community before that happen. Many people didnt take the treat of the virus seriously earlier until these massive cases…..

  21. Do exactly what the Chinese said…wear masks, gloves,use sanitizer, social distance,drink warm water,wash your hands regularly,stay hygienic and most importantly stay at home.

  23. Maybe Europe or even the US already had the virus months before China and did not know it Millions of tourist go to Asia. That explains why the death rates per million are highest in Europe and the US. How can a cruise liner with thousand as of Europeans and Americans get the virus in the middle of the sea?

  24. Probably the source of the virus was France, UK, Spain or Italy. China, Japan, Philippines, Hongkong, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea that are closest to China have a death rate per million of 4 or less. While in Europe it has death rates of 145 to 355 per million.

  26. xenophobia is also a normal response to pandemics happens every time pick a history book just try and remember its geographical not racial. Especially now that anyone could have it.
