Can a 1300HP Subaru do a 7 second pass?

We have never seen somebody break this many parts in the span of three days. Something even more impressive is that we have never seen anybody REPLACE this many parts in three days! CJ has been chasing a 7 second pass in his manual STI for years now and they REALLY sent it in this video!

  1. I've seen that Hop before with the Subaru's, If they can find a way to keep it from jumping like that, he would do 7's all day long and twice on Sundays.. I would look into the GYMKHANA Subaru Suspension.. Because they are working with same kind of power but that thing is planted to the ground somehow.. That car is fast as hell tho no doubt.. Hey look how long it took Cletus to hit 7's with Leroy and that's a V8 Vette worked and tuned to the Bone.. So this guy should not feel bad about low 8's. Shyt to me anything under 14 is fast.. LOL..

  2. Bigger tire and some maybe less on the soft side if it hooks and doesn't hop as bad 7s allday maybe mor rebound but I only know cause forza lol. Na realshot

  3. dial in the suspension, what are you doing???? the thing wants to flip over it has so much suspension travel. omg

  4. There are multiple Class-Action Lawsuits against Subaru for the Rod Failure in this Motor… The Design Defect of the Subaru Boxer Motor… He is not fighting Luck and Time, he is fighting the Engineers who put a Defective Motor in their car, sold it to people, and put it out on the road…

  5. Ummm, a much better attempt at heating the tires would HUGELY affect your launch. Seriously. You are putting like 30 degrees into those tires versus about 100 or more. Your car is wheel hopping like it is because it's spinning on cold tires. Plant the tires, keep them planted and you won't toss rods if you sit there banging the rev limiter either. :p

  6. My opinion is the gear ratio is way to short for that gear his launching in and then it starts to run out of puff to fast for the next gear but all that's making him bounce and that bouncing would be pretty violent when strapped in to the seat and just trying to get it tame enough is taking precious time away from him so for that AWD setup and 1300hp short wheel base it needs a taller gear for launch and introduce full boost in a gear your not going to top out in other wise you'll be forever fighting the inertia and bouncing costing them 10ths hope you get your magic numbers bro

  7. Cj could run 7s all day . If his suspension guy could figure out why he's bounces first and 2nd gear. Incredible 3 days like you said fairytale story with out beautiful ending. Still fast as mf.

  9. It looks like one of the hidden secrets of lightweight is mounting pieces of steel instead of suspension dampers on the rear. No need to put more power to it if the suspension does literally nothing for getting traction and controlling wheel loads.

  10. he has to work on the suspension setup, this heavy hit's by 1st and 2nd gear killing your transmission all the time…….harder springs (?)….more damping….. lower air pressure in tire ?
