17. Can we be financially responsible and present something that will help future generations. Like creating standard and Free 4yr College/Higher education. The problem with student loan is the deregulation of College cost/fees. College is a choice, so if you wish to go to Princeton/Stanford and take on high loans, then it's your choice, the government should not just write a one time blank check(~1Trillion dollars) for temporary relief.

22. Someone with a bachelors degree earns on average an extra $26,000 per year more than someone just out of high school. Forgiving student loans is a subsidy to the rich. I have a friend who graduated medical school with well over $100k in student loans but he makes well over $100k a year. Should we subsidies someone making over $100k per year? Why should public funds be used to subsidies those with the highest earning potential?

40. I have been responsible and paid off my loan. Will I get $50,000? Will the new generation of children get $50,000 for college so that they'll know they have that option when they make college decisions? Why are financially irresponsible people being rewarded? How about those people who did not go to college because they couldn't afford it and did not want to be in debt? Everyone has debt in this country (ie: mortgage) and deserves $50,000. A better solution is to cancel or lower the interest rate of the loans.
