16. Perhaps you have not understood that closing the borders is of no use! The virus has already been in all of Europe for weeks, those looking for it will find it for sure, especially in European countries that deliberately do not do many checks to avoid passing as a greaser and endangering the national economy (8000 swabs made in Italy against the 400 French), and I refer mainly to France and Germany which together with Italy are the economic engine of Europe.
    
    If Italy had been "dishonest" it could have pretended not to see how they do in Europe and say that the dead are due to seasonal flu.
    
    But the latest cases in France (I am referring to the 70-year-old teacher) show that the problem can no longer be hidden.
    
    As Europe we had to make a strong choice weeks ago, instead until the day before yesterday we were silent (except Italy which immediately closed direct flights and imposed a meeting between the health ministers of the various nations) and now we pay all of them the consequences, for the umpteenth time Europe has proved to be courageous and closed in its national interests!
