  1. Respectful, her good name is tainted as the country she associated has turned evil in recent history. No one in that country should be glorified unless country behaviour is back to respectable path.

  2. Just watched the movie. I’m so late people. But it made me respect my mom for the work she does and make me get my ass off and start studying

  3. Oh no,I just watched her movie now and she inspired me that's why I came to check her on YouTube but unfortunately at an old age and already gone😥😥😥😥😥

  4. This is so heartbreaking 💔 I just watched the movie for the 1st time today….. And I was hoping to see how she was doing today.😔 I'm just grateful and somehow regretful that I witnessed and knew about her through the movie… But I didn't expect her to be gone just as soon as i looked for her…. The movie will always have a special place in my heart ♥️ and so will she…😢

  5. RIP Katherine Johnson. You are an inspiration for generations to come. I am so glad finally you got the recognition you got before you left us. You will always be my inspiration.

  6. Before NASA had a space program one woman was the heart of it all. Katherine Johnson wrote the codes that were used in all of our aircraft and spacecraft. Five years before she died in 2015 NASA named her old workplace at Langley after her. Katherine faced the odds and faced struggles but without her there would be no NASA. We will miss you Katherine thank you for getting our space program started.

  7. At last, flying to the heavens above… "O my God, Thy Trust hath been returned unto Thee. It behooveth Thy grace and Thy bounty that have compassed Thy dominions on earth and in heaven, to vouchsafe unto Thy newly welcomed one Thy gifts and Thy bestowals, and the fruits of the tree of Thy grace! Powerful art Thou to do as Thou willest,.." ~ Baha'i Prayer

  8. She made valuable contributions to the space program. The problem is she is very overrated. What she was is what they called 'computers'. They also used women during WWII to calculate formulas for the answers they needed. I understand she had an advanced math degree from Univ of WV. It would have been in the 1930s when she went to school and who knows how sophisticated they were at U of WV then. She might have known something about the formulas she was plugging numbers into, but that's about all. I am a mathematician and this, although important, is not that impressive like the media is trying to make it out to be.
