    3 points on Socialism vs Capitalism:
    We already (passively) accept socialism in America with PUBLIC roads, PUBLIC libraries, PUBLIC schools, national security (aka Army)… so let's not pretend we don't.
    Point 2: we've heard the MSM fear monger about how bad it is in Venezuela AS IF the USA was sooo perfect. NO! The homeless population is GROWING. I've seen people in NY and LA literally eating whatever they can find out of trashcans. Is that the amazing example of capitalism you really want to show off? The news reports CONSTANTLY of evicted elderly people and homeless people FREEZING TO DEATH in the frigid winter. Is THAT THE AMAZING EXAMPLE OF CAPITALISM you're so proud of? Children are starving every single minute of the day IN AMERICA under CAPITALISM… perhaps more children even than in socialist Venezuela.

    Last point, Bernie and his supporters want to adopt what actually WORKS effectively and efficiently from other countries. When he references Socialism, it isn't Venezuela's socialism, it's Denmark's, Sweden's, & Norway's. Countries with the highest standards of living, happiest populations on Earth, and longest life expectancies.

  26. Democratic Socialism vs. Socialism
    Both democratic socialism and socialism advocate for a redistribution of wealth and power to meet public needs, not make profits for a few. Both aim to weaken the power of corporations and increase the power of the working people. 

    Democratic socialists, however, do not think the government should immediately take control of all aspects of the economy. Democratic socialism focuses more on providing basic needs to all people, such as health care and education. Democratic socialism, unlike socialism, would achieve this through democratic means and not an authoritarian rule.
