I understand why a lot of people really get behind the concept of socialism, many of them are good people who just want to minimize costs for essentials (such as education, hospice care, food, etc.), and many of them want to balance the economic paradigm to help the less fortunate succeed in life, both of which are notable and honorable things to desire. That being said, I IMPLORE YOU, socialism is not the answer! It will have catastrophic economic ramifications that will bring all of us down expect for those dirty politicians and bureaucrats who control the system. If you’re interested in helping people, volunteer at organizations and contribute to charities. In order for universities to lower costs there needs to be competition and less faculty – seriously the amount of useless staff members at colleges and salary costs associated with them is outrageous! Also, NOTHING is free, so don’t expect universities and hospitals to just drop their costs out of thin air. They will find loopholes and us regular folk will wind up footing the bill via taxes.
Bloomberg brought up Bernie owning 3 houses. Meanwhile he has 60 Billion dollars to his name…while Bernie has a few million which were rightfully earned threw hard work and dedication. Bernie has devoted his entire life to fighting for equality for ALL. Decades upon decades. I mean I’d HOPE he had a few million to call his own.
