Are these Presidential Pardons justified when there are an estimated 20,000 (1% and very possibly as high as 12% 240,000 of USA prison population) wrongly incarcerated? As of 2016, 2.3 million people were incarcerated in the United States. Those numbers have clearly risen in the past 4 years.

It really makes a person wonder considering the overwhelming numbers of incarcerated people in our country convicted without evidence. Since 1985 over 800 of which were proven inoccent after serving years behind bars. That number does not even scratch the surface of the estimated 20,000 to 240,000 wrongful conviction cases underway nationwide.
