5. He went up, or thought he did, because he was too low to be seen. When the flight tower asked him to identify he had to press a button then when he looked back up he thought he was going up but he was going down.

18. his reason for using helicopters is to avoid missing family time and training but what about the rest of us. how many billions into that slow train to nowhere that only goes 200mph instead of 600mph now, instead of building an elevated buss express over existing highways and speed up the traffic

19. That's what I am saying. He wasn't the only one that died. And his daughter wasn't the only child. 3 younger babies died. And, it may not be explainable, but God is in control of everything. In this life, death is inevitable. Also, stop blaming the pilot. He wasn't at fault. Or, maybe he should be…because the previous pilot Bryant had, NEVER EVER flew in that kind of weather. And he was fired for it. Bryant always asked for this pilot, because he flew when always asked. However he shouldn't have. He thought he was going up, when in fact he wasn't, and hit the side of the mountain, because he couldn't see due to fog. But he always flew when asked. He shouldn't have. It doesn't matter how much money one has, and that it's only a 30 min flight, instead it 2 hours by car. The previous pilot Bryant had, fired him…because he wouldn't risk flying in that kind of weather. Fog is very dangerous for helicopters. If the police grounded their helicopters that morning, what made this pilot more experienced than others? Nothing. All he saw was $$$$ signs. Money is the root of ALL EVIL, , which leads to GREED, and nothing more. However, we can all speculate, place blame, investigate the hell out of this crash. I believe if the pilot would have refused, and explained to Bryant the reasons, being it's too dangerous, and visibility is dangerously low….and if Bryant would have listened…the outcome might have been different. So many maybes, and lives lost due to what?!

31. this happend on my mothers birthday while we were at church. Now for my mothers birthday we have to remember the legand that change basketball history. Losing a family member is tough so just imagine this happening to u. Those people are now legans and will always be. We will miss all of them and they will be with us forever in our life. I cant wait to meet new angles when i reach the end of my life time. :(((((( (RIP)

32. A lot of accidents occur in helicopters…. I wouldn't like to take one, if I can drive my car or take the bus…It is a pitty that this people lost their lives…
