They have been testing them for this since the beginning of the pandemic and they are over 90% accurate. If you want to know more there is a great NY Times article on this. Dogs getting infected is very rare and they haven’t infected humans. All in all a really great, innovative strategy.

I think I can smell it too: it makes the person emit strong breath even thru mask that smells like they were holding pennies in a sweaty hand. 😷 i detected this scent in a positively tested Uber driver & managed to keep distance not to test positive by wearing my mask & opening the windows & not consuming any food or drink near the person or in enclosed space.
