  4. Once and for all, birdbrains, The House did call 17 witnesses. In addition they either called and/or subpoenaed national security advisor Bolton, acting WH chief of staff Mick Mulvaney,,, both refused to appear. John Eisenberg, the lead attorney for the National Security Council, and Robert Blair, a top aide to Mulvaney. both skipped depositions scheduled by the House Intelligence, Oversight, and Foreign Affairs Committees.
    National Security Council aide Michael Ellis and Office of Management and Budget aide Brian McCormack were scheduled and refused to appear. They either defied subpoenas or went to court to avoid testifying. There were at least 100 Republican members of Congress and lawyers who either attended or could have but refused to attend the impeachment inquiry and had equal time to ask questions. These are the ones who made a public display of "storming" the inquiry because they were being "denied" access, when all they had to do was go in, but some ignorant people fell for their publicity stunt. They also were not "denied" relevant witnesses and Shumer sent a specific invitation to Trump to appear, which of course, he refused. They just didn't want any witnesses close to the president to testify because they were afraid of what they'd say, as the Senate proved later in the impeachment trial. So SHUT UP ALREADY, about Trump's whining that he was treated unfairly. He's the one being unfair to voters by deciding for them that he can cheat because he thinks his winning is in the best interest of the country. Well, there are a lot of other candidates who think their winning is in the best interest of the country. So the Senate can shove its excuse for its cowardice to "let the people decide." How can they honestly decide when their man Trump is rigging the elections?

  5. The hypocracy is stunning. Trump's quest for the truth about the last administration's possibly corrupt actions is somehow an impeachable offence. But demanding more witnesses with the admitted intention of negating the last election and impacting the next election is perfectly fine.

  8. "NOT IMPEACHABLE"….49 to 51…the numbers alone tell the tragic truth:…no one in Washington is willing to do the right thing by the American people! THAT is the tragedy…not a "bad process" or a "failed Congress". The Congress has done an amazing amount of actual WORK during this so called "unfair attack on a President"! When is a Presisdent supposed to receive MORE fair process than the people who voted for him? Only during the "Trumpian Age" do we have a Congress that allows executive privilege to "trump" the people's right to hear, see, and know the facts and the truth about the actions that, without a doubt, were an abuse of a President's power.

  9. Ok here it goes… burden sharing & corruption is part of the foreign policy standers President Trump looks into before handing over tax payers money. Burisma was in a state of corruption. Therefore regardless of Hunter Biden working there Trump does have a right to bring up the issue of Burisma corruption. So even if President Trump did say to John Bolton no money to Ukraine until the Burima corruption is resolved. There is nothing wrong with President Trump wanting the Brisma corruption issue resolved before handing over our tax payer money. Oh by the way the Brisma Hunter Biden situation does indeed need to be looked into.

IF you want your own witnesses, allow the other side to have there's and then we will really know what's going on. Only if they did would they interview the whistleblower and find out the accusation was faked and the whole impeachment was a sham, but they won't do that will they..

    Edit ~ Hope to see an investigation on the whistle blower and Bidens ASAP. If we let the Democratic party do what it wants again they will push another Russia gate or something of the like. DRAIN THE SWAMP

  24. The answer, Chucky, is that you had the chance when Schiff and Nadler both could have called these witnesses. The 33 days that Nancy wasted in such a “time critical, urgent ” (bwah ha ha) need to impeach could have been used to let subpoena challenges to work through the courts. The fact that you couldn’t wait just shows that that the Democrats did a “schiffy” job. But more so the process y’all forgot that the process itself must favor the defendant; in as such we should not be requiring them to prove innocence. But you forgot your basic civics lesson but required Trump to do just that. Shame on you all.

  26. All I'm saying is if he had nothing to hide, he should've let witnesses come in. The truth would've come out. I'm not even talking about Bolton. Literally every person he blocked was likely to incriminate him. Lying is harder here than it actually is.

    And while I agree, the final remedy will be the election, it doesn't seem right when this all started when he tried to get info for the coming election.

  44. why didnt they get those witnesses during impeachment? If they wanted to charge him with a crime, why didnt they get all the witnesses beforehand? How hard would that have been?
