  1. What a great story! She's adorable! My first dog i adopted and i would adopt another one in a heart beat. Shelter dogs make great companions and some are very smart, they learn quickly.

  2. Shelters are not bad places. I'd rather a dog stay at a shelter with food and care then on the streets while they're waiting to be adopted. Animal overpopulation is a real issue. Good to see this dog got a home and was in good shape to be adopted.

  3. Anyone who adopts instead of shops there animals deserves all the love that animal will give them.these two are angels for taking that beautiful dog into their home and making it part of their family. She definitely deserves that big comfy bed she's laying on! πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸΎπŸΎπŸΎ

  4. Why the hell wasn't the dog euthanized the first year? So cruel to be locked in a doggie prison for 7+ years.

I've never heard of any shelters keeping animals locked up that long. Wtf?

  5. GOD BLESS THIS LITTLE BEAUTIFUL FAMILY….WITH MUCH LOVE AND SLAINTE, FROM PENNSYLVANIA…SINCERELY…DANNHEN. πŸ™πŸ•ŠπŸ¦…πŸ€—MAY YOU ENJOY EACH OTHERS COMPANY, FOR QUITE A FEW…MORE THAN, RATHER,…FOR AS MANY YEARS AS YOU ALL WILL HAVE. I AM CRYING RITE NOW…πŸ‘΅πŸ•ŠπŸ¦…πŸ˜πŸ’–

  6. its sad she spent her youth at the shelter honestly!!! I feel they just wanted her to have that freedom before she passes. sad story with a happy ending.

  7. Why 7 years? What a shitty life living in a shelter all that time. I know it's better than living on the streets and struggling to find your food each day, but the shelters i'm familiar with are just cages and the dogs really go insane from the noise and stress.

  8. Yes its a little heartwarming but not news worthy. Im pretty sure there is more important things to talk about on the news.
