It's a pellet gun not a high powered rifle. Not of the pellets went thru the glass, not in the photos
The kid did nothing more than interrupt traffic and cause property damage that his parents should pay for. Pellet guns aren’t lethal and it is no different than if a pebble hit their windshield. Pellet guns have no penetrating power that could break through the windshield that could put the passengers at risk.

I live in the area. Hugh Scott is actually my kids principal. Everyone around here was terrified to go down 264 in Wilson for the last few days. Glad they caught the boy doing it and nobody got hurt. He obviously knew exactly what he was doing because he camouflaged himself under a bunch of shrubs from what I understand. I imagine his folks are going to get sued and hes going to be doing some time because he could have killed someone easily.
So how is this not premeditated and attempted murder?
It’s funny seeing all the people who think pellet guns are lethal lol. The windshield likely cracked from going at high speed on the highway when the pellet hit it but they don’t mention that.
