25. I applaud this couple for what they did! Let me tell you, if people waited to help until there was no danger to anyone else, there’d be no amber alerts. There’d be no ems. There’d be no first responders! The only people who make judgmental remarks like that are those who’ve never needed help to save their child!

28. Idiots complaining about this couple running red lights! What were they supposed to do – let the guy get 5 miles ahead of them and lose sight of him? They did not RUN the red light; they slowed right down and let the few cars get through the intersection and THEN they moved forward. There were no cars coming through the green light towards them, they were never in danger of being in an accident. If the police had reprimanded this couple for that red light infraction, I would be starting a GoFundMe to pay their fine. They probably saved that girl's life, and many hours of terror before being killed. I think in a life and death situation, that's the time to bend the rules. They would have lost sight of the abductor's car and wouldn't have been able to give police an exact location which would have added minutes, maybe hours to the chase. People who are posting comments about everything this couple did "wrong" should thank their lucky stars that THEY have never been put into a position of having to make those split-second decisions. There's nothing to criticize about this couple – what they did was heroic. If you've got nasty comments to make, make them about the abductor – HE's the one who deserves everyone's criticism.
