A powerful earthquake rocked the island and has left at least one hospital without power that comes on the heels of a 5.8 magnitude quake called a foreshock.

A magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck Puerto Rico in the early hours of Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake hit close to the town of Tallaboa on the island’s south coast, at 4:24 a.m. local time (03:24a.m EST) at a depth of 10 kilometers, USGS said.

As a Puerto Rican who lives in PR, I actually experienced this terrible earthquake, i was sleeping at 3am then i feel heavy shaking like i was going in a rollercoaster, then my mom woke up my siblings and we all went outside on the midnight. We had no power for weeks. Thankfully, we have full power and wifi but we get mini earthquakes 🇵🇷
All it take is an apology from the right person smh oh well
i remember, a small one hit and we were watching the news, and when it happened i heard the woman on the news say:
"AY AY! ESTA TEMBLANDO! ESTA TEMBLADO!!"
Aand the guy there was like
"Ok ok no tienes que gritar"

It is a nerve-racking situation for the people living in the south of the island and for the entire island too. If feeling an earthquake is terrible, feeling so many replicas constantly is enough to drive people insane.
