6. On the one hand, Dr Faucci says the CDC recommendations are based on science.
   Then, on the topic of double masking, despite saying no studies or scientific evidence exists on efficacy, he recommends double masking.

   Please.
   The closest study I know of is the study which compared two persons each wearing various masks vs only one person wearing a mask, and found that there was approx a 10% benefit when both individuals wore a mask.
   And, I'd expect that wearing a crappy cloth mask over a surgical mask is better than wearing only the crappy cloth mask, but is questionable whether is any better than wearing a surgical quality medical mask.

   But, there is only one solution that undeniably the best and proper solution…
   Just wear an N95 mask or respirator.
   Well studied and supported by science, it blocks at least 95% of all particles including droplets at least 3 microns in size which can contain virus particles.
   It won't protect against smaller particles (aerosolized), but it is the best solution available.
