1. We might have to just teach our kids, real life skills: cooking, cleaning, accounting or budgeting, lawn work growing fruits and vegetables. Why you might ask because they need all of that. Because if we open schools there will be more deaths, my auntie is dying of COVID19 right now the whole family is praying now. My uncle died of COVID19. The teachers will die of f we open the Schools right now. We need to go back when we’ve all been vaccinated. I work in a school and classes are full we don’t have enough room to social distance. I will return once I’m vaccinated and does anyone know for how long the vaccines give you immunity? Or in my case how long do I have immunity since I had COVID19 IN DECEMBER 2020?

4. from my experience it would be better if parents stay involved in distance based learning- communicating with teachers and providing their kids the best learning environment they can "inside" their house…It sucks but half the kids are involved and do the work we ask of them, some of the others are seriously distracted at home- with sibling/ students sitting next to them and trying to concentrate on their respective teachers, theres lack of equipment/connectivity, TV's on , games in hand, smaller siblings crawling on them, parents yelling and talking in the back ground, teachers can only do so much….I am aide, and we try, BUT there are situations inside the culture of home that we cannot change or comment on. We try and we call and text and we do our best to engage and be creative. THESE KIDS NEED THE CLASSROOM AND THEY NEED PHYSICAL EDUCATION !!! THEY NEED REST AND NUTRITOUS FOOD!!! The kids that are doing well or good in distance based learning, as well as their parents deserve our support and they deserve praise…and some parents think they are dropping their kids off at school – when they are simply logging on to their classes and family/home life goes on as if the kid is at school – THEY ARE HOME not at school. School is digitally coming into their homes. At school we control the environments, we can make connections..Many kids dont turn their cameras on even for a brief minute. The ones with their cameras on GENERALLY are the ones that are keeping up….THANKS FOR LISTENING

5. The parents are dropping the ball on their children's education. They have a responsibility to keep their children up with their lessons.

6. my experience over the years is homeschooled children are brighter and more mature, I'm guessing a lot of the credit goes to the parents.

9. The education of these children, both in and outside of school, is being stunted. Should we do that or let older people with pre-existing conditions lock us all down? I though everything people did was for future generations and all that crap.

11. My 6 year old and eight year old is doing fantastic in Home Learning because they don't have distraction from the other kids and the semi bullying that they see other kids receiving

12. I have a 12 year old and a 7 year old. My older child struggles immensely but also being at that age it’s hard to keep her focused and on task without guidance. I work full time and am in college too. It’s been rough. If any other mothers out there are struggling. You aren’t alone.

15. My daughter is in school 5 days a week. Anyone in her school that got COVID have been confirmed to get it outside of school. Interesting when Trump was saying kids were falling behind that he was called a killer by the liberal fake news networks. Also funny that now after the rigged election NY has said they need to open businesses. lol How many people died and how many businesses/lives were ruined to make sure democrats won an election? Everybody time is precious and now is the time for people to have an close relationship with God while they are still living and with that being said if anyone want to change their life right now for the better all they have to do is allow God to come into their life and make God leader of their life. For if they do they will become a winner in life, experience true happiness, experience long lasting success all they have to do is make the best choice of their life right now and start a close relationship with God by them praying to God everyday for his help in every decision of their life everyday and in every situation of their life everyday for I guarantee if they do this everyday then their life will get better, they will have more peace, they will be more successful, they will have more happiness, and all their dreams will come true that’s because when they pray to God then God will make all good things possible for them and they must not forget to read the “Holy Bible” everyday and a great place for them to start in the holy Bible is (Psalms 1) and everyday after that read a chapter in Psalms till they finish all the chapters in Psalms then after that start on (Proverbs 1) then everyday after that read a chapter in Proverbs till they finish all the chapters in Proverbs and after that read every chapter of the Holy Bible until they finish it for it will change their life in the most amazing way

17. I went to a one room school in the second and third grade,There were 6 students in my third grade class, 25 students for 8 grades, As a retired educator, I think we could adopt this model as a alternative to educating students with covid
