  1. So many people in the comments are mad the media used the word fall? FALL: (noun- an uncontrollable descent, verb- move downward, typically rapidly and freely, without control from a higher to lower level)….so what part don't they understand???

  2. I’ve never seen someone on skis going to rescue someone. It’s always on a bobsled. How neat! I wouldn’t have ever thought about it had I never seen this

  3. He had the right gear. He was an experienced climber. This was a freak accident. Not a 16 “kid” trying to climb Hood on a Sunday stroll. @abcnews please amend
