My guess
(not first hand but through research and experience with others) is Magen has had mental health issues in the past maybe covert narcissist with well developed manipulation skills. Someone able to have friendships so long as the other person fed into them just how they like. This emptiness only worsened by the introduction of meth and other drugs. Lack of sleep and paranoia can make you do wild things. Methamphetamine chemically alters how a user thinks and feels. Of course there are physical effects that are usually noticed by others, weight loss, alertness, impulsively to steal, arrests from erratic behavior, agitation, outbursts, or mood swings. This drug can also cause people to experience hallucinations and become prone to violent behavior(no sane person would just kill their best friend and abduct her baby simply because they were infertile or had an underlying hormonal imbalance before looking into adoption and other medical assisted options…kinda think maygen wasn’t really that dedicated on the idea of being a mother just a sick desire to have what her friend had ). After “Maygen” “Magen” successfully killed Heidi on a meth comedown and successfully had the baby in her care she stopped using. Maybe she realized she was in wayy too deep knowing that the deed was done now with a baby in her home that she did not give birth to. Logically she knew she would eventually be arrested arrested and drug tested. Extreme stress of stopping meth, having to lie her very best to be convincing to others that Shane IN FACT killed his wife, caused major hair loss. She might of pulled some out in a fit of rage who knows. Stopping the stimulation of meth was nurtured by stress eating that caused the rapid weight gain and not pcos.Of course, I don’t know any of these people in person and I’m just a conspiracy theorist like the rest of us lol I doubt this woman has the ability to recognize why her own thinking and nothing outside of herself caused her to kill her supposed best friend

DNA will reveal truth. Video footage of suspects will reveal truth. But truth is always open to interpretation even by those involved. You never know who you hink you know; a developing trend of this age.

For those who don't know a close female friend of the mom was arrested in connection to the kidnapping and murder. Police suspect the friend was lying about being pregnant and planned on kidnapping the infant to pass it off as her own.
