  1. It is a dangerous precedent when people view impeachment as the remedy for a president they don't like or as the only opposition tool available. Trump's opponent talked impeachment before he even stepped foot into the white house, and this normalized it to the rest of the nation, or at least the democrat voters, that everyone was on board every time a democrat politician said impeachment. The danger of lowering the bar on impeachment is that it will become a political tool used against every president, it will be partisan, and it will undermine the presidency. I happen to be one of those who opposed Clinton's impeachment too. Indeed he lied to congress under oath, but to me that lie is the fruit of a poisonous tree, in the sense that it was part of an investigation to a stupid act he did in office with an intern, which should have been left up to public opinion to judge him through the election, assuming he didn't break any laws doing what he did. Impeachment needs to be about something serious, consequential, and clearly demonstrative that a president can not or should not continue to be president, hence the term "high crimes" … by the way, president Obama would be the easiest president to impeach with such low standard, because he had a lot of scandals within his presidency, but the media loved him so he got a pass and no public pressure mounted sufficiently to reach that threshold. It also helps that he was clearly legally savvy and knew how to navigate constitutional law and how far to push the envelope.

  2. Dems have nothing to run in 2020 as they were focused all the time on Trump impeachment.Bad strategy and dirty trick. Instead they would have worked for the American people and Beat him on the ballot. Inspite of all this dirty politics by the dems and the leftist corrupt media Trump is constantly working for the American people. Job numbers are record high, 26000 new jobs added again in now. Economy is booming. Trump is giving goodies to American people and Dems and the liberal media are giving hatred, negativity and division to the American people.Shame on Dems and Leftist corrupt media.

  3. WTF would be giving permission to people to move around, take pictures, talk the entire freaking time in any giving situation? Please get back to work and stop these telemarketers from calling my cell phone everyday, if you wish to impress me! This is straight up BS and wasting our tax payers dollars! I have heard that the entire month of January will only be dealing with this issue! No meetings schedule for the people at all? WHY DID WE PUT YOU ALL IN OFFICE, I HAVE NO IDEA… What are you all doing for us TODAY?

  4. think everyone is kind of comparing apples to oranges when they tie Trump’s impeachment proceedings with Johnsons’, Nixon’s and Clinton’s. Trump’s is the only President facing impeachment that is also facing reelection. All the others were impeached during their second term, hence they could not participate in the next election. I find it strange that someone as smart as Mr. Turley not to notice this distinction when he tries to discredit the process based on its speediness. Specially, when the charges being investigated are directly related to meddling with an election. I also wonder why no one is asking him what other remedy does the country has when confronted with evidence that a President is meddling with an upcoming election where he is a candidate. Are we supposed to see if he gets reelected and then impeach him? Then how do you undo any actions he/she might have taken after becoming President illegally?

  5. All of you who support the Republican Party are fucking inbred idiots who are so delusional that you could be shot by trump and you’d still support him.

    You guys are beyond saving

  6. I'll give Turley credit for an attempt at reason, He may have still missed the mark by a mile, at least he tried… Now can we get back to Arresting the Cabal for Treason please.. Trump will Bring them down..

  7. This gentleman seemed amused & smiled more than anyone in the hearing. Maybe because of the irony that he didnt vote for Trump & is not a supporter yet the Republicans called him to opine at the hearing.

  8. The GOP are the traitors. Why should they be allowed to call anyone?

Considering the situation I think one is pretty good.

Oh you're one of those un-American Neo-Nazi Republicans? Since you hate our democracy so much go live in Russia.

No one is stopping you. right comrade?

  9. All greetings from Russia friends! Russians and Americans should be friends! Do not listen to the cunning deceivers of politicians! Politicians need money! And we ordinary people! We need to communicate! I love you friends! Peace to all in your family and health! Merry Christmas!

  12. The loss of power: "The pure insane grip of the tribe, and the absolute terror of being without it" (Jack Reacher). Someone once said you can run but you can't hide.
