  1. I know they advise you to leave your window closed due to the oxygen, but if you had a ladder, would it be advisable to get out of the building as soon as possible instead of risking being in a burning building?

  2. so i went through this and i took my two dogs and ran out the house while i was getting my dogs I was holding my breath. It was really hard but my dogs knew what to do they ran out the house because the were trained for a week and they did amazing! Stay safe people

  3. I'm terrified of death, because i don't believe in an afterlife, but I'd rather die saving my animals than live without them.

I have no friends other than my pets, without them I have nothing to live for.

  4. If there are any firefighters here i have a couple questions, 1. is it okay to have 5 locks on a door? 2.if you have your bed next to the wall would it catch fire? 3. where is the best place to put a smoke alarm?

  5. Just makes me sad that they use a perfectly good stuff like that with furnishings nicer than a lot of homes.i get it though, my brother is a FF and it's something people need to see.

  6. Most things smolder now so its important to have a photo electric alarm it responds safely to both smoldering and flaming fires!!!!! it is the one proven most effective to detect both smoldering and flaming fires!!!!

  7. I just got rescued from a fire , felt asleep on a matress that was laying on the floor , that basically saved me , even if my door was open … the fan running saved me too cuz it caught a lot … im telling you all fire isnt a thing you want to happen , ive learned my lesson.

  8. My biggest pet peeve is when people don't change the batteries on their smoke detector. 100% irresponsible, especially if other people live in the building too.

  9. So if you're in the bedroom in this demonstration that has the door shut, why don't you just climb out the window and get out?

  10. I’m just confused as to why he said open the window to throw something out or alert firefighters… why not just climb out through the fucking window?

  11. What should you do if you can't call 911 (you don't have your phone handy and you're stuck in your bedroom? And jumping out of the window is not an option, so if I can't open the door to escape, am I doomed?
