impeachment isnt up to mcconnell. mcconnell has no more power than any other senator during an impeachment. he can try to stop votes but the whole senate gets to vote on impeachment procedure every step of the way, and mcconnell cant stop that any more than any other senator, with 1 vote.

ABC news must have only watched part of the hearing not the whole one that was live streamed. There was questioning of Sonland that he indicated that no one on the planet told him aid was withheld in exchange for something Ukraine needed to do. He said it was his own presumption not that anyone told him this.
