  4. I live in New Orleans and was on that corner the night before. The cops on that street don’t give a fuck… I heard they turned and ran from the gunshots in fear rather than stepping up and doing what they are there for. Shame.

  11. new orleans is defined by its behavior of tolerace of this type of behavior.New orleans must stand up and stop tolerating criminals to do this to children. The people that do this type of actions are child abusers and the city of new orleans tolerates and supports child abuse. shame on the city of new orleans. the city of new orleans needs to think about getting its priorities in order. W must get rid of trash that ruins things. the bayou classic may need to be canceled because of the danger it brings to innocent people. its time we started protesting events that get people hurt. this is one.

  13. Largest mass shooting in USA history, Wounded Knee So. Dak. Dec. 29, 1890. 300 innocent, unarmed men, women and children shot dead by US government. Similar shooting have occurred in Germany, Russia, China, Turkey, Greece, Africa, SE Asia, South America, You name it. In the last century and a half, it's happened. Is this a vote for gun control?

  18. The Bayou Classic weekend always brings more violence to the city than usual. It's gotten so bad that some places wont open that weekend. Something has to be done.

  19. So why is this somehow not as important as the El Paso or Dayton Shootings, why isn't' this front page news 24/7 on CNN and MSNBC. Please somebody explain who makes the decisions when one mass shooting is more important than the next. Those shooting you had every presidential candidate tweeting about it. This one–not a word from Booker, Kamala, Warren, nobody.

  21. Funny how when 10 people are shot with handguns you don't really hear any outcries of disgust and anger. Had it been a semi automatic rifle used, it would have been PLASTERED all over that 10 were injured when they were shot using an ASSAULT RIFLE!!!! But, since it was a handgun used…it's just news and NOT an attempt to stir anger in people about guns. TYPICAL fake news!!!

  26. Strange that for every mass shooting we have, 3 times the number of people die due to idiots on their phone. 10 times die due to drinking and driving. So many seemingly innocuous things dwarf the number of mass shooting deaths. Our society cares nothing for the deaths of innocent people unless it furthers their political agenda.
    Fuck you! You're not getting my guns!
