This narrative will get thrashed on a level playing field. There's nothing wrong with initiating an investigation, ever. Not even when you're running for office.     There are 3 ways to garner the cooperation of another country:
    1: Offer them something they want.
    2: Threaten them with something they don't want.
    3: Appeal to their goodwill.
    1 and 2 require a quid pro quo. 3 is too often ineffective. So please, tell me more about how this deal is an example of wrongdoing.
