  1. He seems like a very nice guy. I hope this was a wake up call for him. I know how i feels cause i know i need to lose weight myself and it's not a easy thing. Hugs to the man!!

  2. Some Empathic people here. Cool. As for others whom condemned for being FAT, that it's his fault. Then I'll assume when I see a skinny person, it's their fault( a drunk, druggie, has lung cancer from smoking…. Because Soceity rejects FAT people. It's a shame, it's not A**holes!

  3. Not a big deal… Sure. So fat he can't get up on his own. Maybe it's time to lose some weight when you need to call for help if you trip and fall and can't get up by yourself.

  4. It’s so sad to see people this heavy. I used to battle deep depression and developed an eating disorder. I watched a season of the biggest looser on tv. It Encouraged me to change my diet exercise and get healthier because I didn’t want to end up like those I saw on television.

  5. In case anyone is curious this is actually a very regular call. At least where I volunteered about half of our calls were assisting elderly and overweight people. It happens, sometimes even off of the toilet. All part of the job, take it in strides and joke about it later. Biggest take away is how much it means to the person who needs help.

  6. coming from a dude who dose not like letting other people help with my disability for movement and what not i know calling them it had to kill him on the inside

  7. Will he get charged by the fire department for coming out to his house? I know ambulance rides cost a fortune but what about the basic service call?
