Rodney Reed has spent the last 21 years on death row for the 1996 murder of Stacey Stites, and he is scheduled to be executed in Texas in less than a month.

Reed’s family and legal team say new developments in the case exonerate him and they claim Stites’ then-fiancé, a former police officer named Jimmy Fennell, may have been involved.

  5. Killer ! They would never had linked him if he wasn’t a rapist before he killed her ! The only reason they were able to link his dna to the saliva found on her chest Sperm in her rectum and vaginal area was because of the time he raped his ex and the twelve year old … His other victims were raped in their rectum area and their vaginal !! That speaks a whole lot he had to do it HE RAPED ALL THREE THE SAME WAY the only difference she had fresh saliva on her breast … Y’all gotta be kidding me there is no way in hell Stacey would be driving around with fresh saliva all over her chest and breast it would have been wiped off she would have never gone home without cleaning herself up at least at work she couldn’t have been that stupid . Then the only reason he said he knew Stacey after he said he didn’t know her was because of his sperm inside of her … he’s sick if you ask me ! I believe her fiancé violence didn’t start in till way way way after Stites was killed , reed violence started before Stacey was murdered .. Even if he doesn’t get the death penalty he should never be freed ! I hate how people are taking sides for jimmy and reed they both should be locked away ! STACEY STITES IS THE REAL VICTIM NOT REED !

  6. Everyone is discussing all this other bs, but nothing about the "belt" that she was strangled with after Fennell told another cop that he was going to strangle her with her belt. Funny how people only see and hear what they want. Also, still ignoring Stacey's co-worker who she informed that she was sleeping with a black guy behind Fennell's back. So, Alicia Slater's statement & Arthur Snow's statement gets ignored, but the crooked prosecutor's evidence and statements are the ones that need to be believed. Wow! Reed's multiple requests more DNA testing the belt have been denied. Why denied if they have nothing to cover up?

They left out the part where Reed raped other women including a 12 year old girl, tried to rape another woman after he murdered this woman in the story…..he did NOT always maintain his innocence. He denied knowing the victim, then after they told him they found his sperm in her, he changed his story to….we were having a secret love affair. FACTS all left out. WOW….fake news. WTF is going on in this world?

  31. im not white, and I do believe that he shouldn’t be killed for something he didn’t do. That being said, I’m hearing a lot of other stuff about him being a rapist and their being dna evidence. I’m going to refrain from signing Incase this is true. I really have no idea what to believe, but for this specific case, I do believe he’s innocent. But if he did rape, he should be punished.
