This is all just more theater, more "reality show" presidency. Bolton will confirm what we all know already, that the WB1 accurately predicted what was in the transcript, which was a clear and simple shakedown. THAT is far more important than WHO the WB1 is. It is the accuracy of the information, not the source.
Clumsy, almost intentionally so on Trump's part (helps muddy the water later when he claims is was "perfect"- and from his point of view, maybe is was, giving him some ersatz deniability).
Here, for any remaining doubters, is the critical part of the transcript, where Trump introduces the need for the "favor" right after Zelensky announces the intent to buy more Javelin missiles for defensive purposes.

The President: I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike… I guess you have one of your wealthy people… The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you're surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. The very request, the solicitation, that Trump insists on Zelensky investigating to find out if the hack of the DNC server came from Ukraine (not Russia) is an ILLEGAL ACT by Trump. And the quid pro quo is OBVIOUS on it's face, needing the "favor" immediately after Zelensky mentions the intent to buy the Javelins. How ANYONE can pretend to deny what is obviously there is ridiculous.. Later, he goes into the even more selfserving business with investigating the Bidens. It's all RIGHT THERE in the transcript of the "perfect call". That is all that anyone with half a brain (meaning you, Trump supporters) should be able to see it, if they are honest. Which they are apparently NOT.
