I remember during the ice storm several years ago here in Oklahoma, sitting inside and hearing tree after tree after tree splitting and breaking apart. It was a sound I'll never forget. I wonder if they heard all the trees breaking apart during this tornado, or if the winds and other flying debris drowned all that out. Excellent reporting here, and I'm so happy to hear everyone is okay (physically).
The lights were flickering, and I was hiding in my closet. While this tornado was 1/2 mile from me.

This is simply a miracle.An f3 tornado struck north dallas a very densely populated part of the city and no fatalities!!! That's crazy. BTW dallas had 1.3 million residents. I've seen stories of a tornado hit a small town and kill 20 ppl. Wow wake up call for dallas
