“We have a good relationship with the Kurds, but we never agreed to protect the Kurds. We have fought with them for three-and-a-half to four years. We never agreed to protect the Kurds for the rest of their lives,” Trump said speaking to reporters at a White House Cabinet meeting for more than an hour Monday afternoon.

Lol he has a point to be honest , the U.S. gave a huge support for the Kurdish YPG militias (closely related to terrorist-listed PKK) and Peshmerga when they are getting beaten by ISIS , in fact the Kurds used the American support to absorb more lands , however once the Americans left , they started to lose , they lost all their gains in 2017 when the Iraqi army pushed them to pre 2003 borders and later Turkey and Syrian opposition beat them twice in 2018 and 2019 and captured some territory before stopping.
