  1. It's always been about the fame and notoriety. Some made more off of it than others obviously. People who don't want to get a regular job. Hefner was ugly even in the 70's. Not a good looking man. So it's always been about letting some nasty ass grovel around on top of you for money

  2. This isn’t real news. Sugar coated as hell. There was plenty of male dominated sexism and opportunism going on here. Men like this who want playthings many tend not to be very nice and certainly are not out for the best interests of these sex objects. Some strong and empowered women probably negotiated these waters well, but many less equipped for this elite rough and tumble playground where predators seek out the weak we’re used and abused. Don’t forget drugs and STDs.

  3. I'm sure that the last image of a magazine cover featuring Dorothy Stratten was just a coincidence, no editorial intent there.

  4. Oh Dear!! Playmates were objectified?? Imagine!!!The blonde certainly indulged in Sex with "Hot guys".Her face with muti-layers of makeup tells you everything you need to know. The brunette? Nope, she was home in her own bed.Sadly, both of them are desperately hanging on to their glory days which have long since passed.I'm embarrassed for them.

  5. Oh, I thought it was just going to be "they gave us sausage, they gave us money, we came back for more, they gave us meat balls, they gave us money, we came back for more". I didn't realize they were all so classy.

  6. Yeah if you are a grown woman and just go for pool parties or to wear a skimpy outfit while watching movies and chatting with A listers then I am sure it is fun when Hugh was alive he seemed to care about keeping it classy it's probably not like that anymore though. He just wants to sit in his smoking jacket with his pipe not have have his guests drugged or raped that is bad for business.

  7. Playboy had a photographer who went by the name "Susy" or "Suzi" I believe and she was an incredible photographer!Wonder if she's still with us…awesome photography!

  8. In the late 70s I serviced Credit Verification Terminals at the Century City Club. I would work at counter level along with the Bunnies squeezing in and out. I bought a membership mostly for the free monthly magazine because it was cheaper and they would punch my card with a bunny punch.

  9. What's so ironic about this is "JUSTIFICATION" of being part of something on this level. There's no glamour, fun, or sensation other than what it's design to do.

  10. well what are they going to complain…they were hired for their bodies and they knew it…..so now that genetics and gravity have taken place…oh feel sorry for me

  11. Having seen all these parties with celebrities & being the 70's. I wondered how much blow was used to fuel these events. Looks like some wild times there.

  12. its nice to know they have good memories in the mansion as playmates. at least they dont have regrets instead good memories, this means theyre treated nicely and satisfied during their time. that's nice of mr. hefner he makes the women enjoy their moments in the mansion.
