A lot of kids get off the bus and hurry or run to get home. She is lucky. My child experienced that years ago. The vehicle tore the open bus door off as my child was about to step off the bus.

to those of you saying tve car wasn't even close; that car was driving around like crazy,we have no idea where the driver was heading to three seconds later,could have turned and come stright back and hit the girl. Or,had just stopped and driven backwards,the driver did the right thing to be scared and see what was going to happen before she let the child out.
